A former council owned highways storage depot , Rockwood Mews was purchased via auction in 2016, with consented planning for 4 x 3 bedroom homes. Subsequently, further permission was sought and granted for an additional unit creating a mix of 3 x terrace properties and 2 larger semi - detached units with garages.


The work commenced in 2019 and was scheduled for 11 months, however with construction effectively halted during the COVD lockdowns this was delayed, and the properties were finally launched in January 2021, with prices starting from £365,000 to £410,000.


Internally, the units were fitted to a high standard with top of the range appliances, quartz kitchen worktops, hardwood flooring , underfloor heating and porcelain bathrooms / wet rooms. 


 The first property was agreed immediately after launching with the following 4 units also going under offer within three months.

Purchased at auction from WSCC, this previous ward assisted living was converted into a combination of 16 residential units comprising  studios, 1 and 2 bedroom apartments. 


Refurbishment begun in 2015 and was completed just 10 months later being built to high specification throughout.  The units were listed on the rental market and fully let within 3 months. The building has been retained by Gilstead Homes rental portfolio.

Belulah Road - tunbridge wells

4 x 1 bed, 4 x 2 bed and 2 x 3 bed Apartments

Another buy to let purchase, Belulah Road was already converted into residential units when purchased however the building was tired and not configured to maximum potential.


Reconfiguring and extending some of the internal units the whole building was given a new lease of life. The bathrooms were all updated to more usable wet rooms, with the kitchens also being replaced in line with a more modern aesthetic. 


With good train links, Tunbridge Wells remains popular with both local workers and commuters and these apartments have always remained fully let with little to no void periods.
